Kathy has been amazing over the years! She first helped us source properties in 2012 and later on managed the property for us when we rent it out. She's very professional and resourceful. This year when we decided to sell the property, she helped us to close a deal in almost 2 weeks!

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Kathy Risley randomly during one of her open houses during the summer of 2015, at which time her warm, genuine, honest personality immediately captured our hearts - and our business.  Recently, in Dec 2015, my husband and I purchased a condo in Little Italy after Kathy patiently searched for the perfect place with us for several months. I would like to take a few minutes to write a review about what sets Kathy apart from her peers.We were greatly impressed with Kathy throughout the entire process: from the home search to making an offer and all throughout escrow. She demonstrated excellent communication skills - in person, via email, on the phone, and also in written form (letters, texts, etc) - with all parties involved (us, the seller’s realtor, brokers, home inspectors, appraisers, etc).  She is detail-oritened, and guided us through each step with patience and respect.We genuinely felt that she wanted to ensure we understood what was happening at each step; she provided us the information and attention we needed.  Kathy understands the home-buying process (as well as what can possibly go wrong - we had a few hiccups!- but fortunately she also knows how to seamlessly remedy things, in a manner agreeable to both parties, to get the process back on track again).  Additionally, she provided us with incredible professional resources that we needed during the transaction, ex: home inspectors.  Kathy truly listened to our home needs, time frame, and target areas; she readily provided viewings in alignment with those, and was conscious of our budget. Thus she did not waste our valuable time or hers.  She has a terrific grasp on the local housing market, and is very knowledgeable about values, trends, neighborhoods, etc.We always had the feeling that she cared more about finding the perfect condo for us, than she did about making her commission (something we have not felt when working with other relators in the past); Kathy made US a priority and always made herself available. We will definitely be working with her again for our next purchase, but are enjoying our current condo greatly until then!

Kathy was not only very knowledgeable in the San Diego downtown area where we looked at properties, she came always prepared with a detailed and individualized printed research data for each of the properties that she showed us. This helped us to be able to write notes, look back, review and compare the various properties that we viewed. What we also loved about Kathy was how attentive and respectful she was of our wishes and only showed us properties that met our criteria. She was the utmost professional at all times. She went out of our way to always make time for us (which was important to us since we didn't live in the area) and answered any questions we had promptly. She has a warm personality, a very positive attitude and demeanor and just made the search process less stressful. She is simply the best and we'd give her more than 5 stars if possible. We highly recommend Kathy.

Kathy is a consummate professional. She was the agent who originally helped us find our home, and when it came time to sell, was the only choice to be our selling agent. She gave us great advice and helped us with finding just the right people to do the little jobs that made our house sell quickly at a great price. I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family. She is very easy to work with, knowledgable, and ready to help whether you ar getting into or out of a home.

Kathy helped my husband and I both buy and sell a condo, as well as find us a condo to rent in the downtown area. When we were buying our 1st condo, after selling a large single family home, Kathy searched diligently to find what would please us in the area and price range that we wanted. During this time, we were out of the country a lot and Kathy kept us totally informed and up to date via the internet or Skype.Kathy's real value was shown when it came to selling our condo. She was correct in the pricing range and worked tirelessly to make the unit promoted widely. We were again traveling during much of the selling process and Kathy again kept us informed while dealing with some difficult circumstances. When we were ready to find a rental condo, she helped us quickly find a unit that met our requirements, is in a great location, and we are delighted in.In all situations, Kathy was straightforward, hard working, quick to respond to our communications/questions, and unwavering in her honesty. Kathy assisted me with purchasing 2 separate expensive investment homes over a period of a few months She located them based on my requirements, assisted in negotiating and handled everything thru the closings. From the very beginning she was completely involved in every aspect of the listing and sale, including her helpful suggestions for making my house more than presentable for marketing.
